Heres a light and entertaining work for first-year musicians thats the perfect vehicle for teaching and reinforcing playing in 3/4 time. As the title implies, its meant to be a fun and good-humored piece that makes learning and playing fun. It begins with the full ensemble and then allows the woodwinds and then brass to perform separately, making the piece easy to rehearse and prepare while teaching rhythmic independence. A great entertaining and educational addition to any elementary band program.
