This coastal-inspired March by composer Chris Ferguson captures both the excitement and tranquility of early-morning surfing along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Each morning before the beaches fill with tourists, local surfers head out on their “dawn patrols,” stopping by favorite coffee shops, checking the surf, and paddling out just as the sun begins to rise. This work combines the traditional form of a Concert March with coastal imagery in celebration of life by the sea.
