Wingert-Jones Publications Releases New Achievement-Focused Orchestra Music

Featuring 25 original and newly-arranged String Orchestra works for all occasions at grade levels 0.5-4+, Wingert-Jones Publications has just released their new 2026-2027 String Orchestra music catalog. This release also marks the introduction of Ready Sets for String Orchestra, with three new time and money-saving options: the Judges Set, Class Set, and Bundled Set, that directors can choose from, alongside the traditional standard set of score and parts.

Live professional recordings and ScoreVideos are available for each piece, along with easy-to-access digital program notes. These resources facilitate easy music review and selection, and can be used as tools with students in the classroom. The recordings are streaming on the publisher’s website, and will soon be streaming on all major platforms.

The publisher’s 2026-2027 String Orchestra release includes works from composers and arrangers Janelle Zook Cunalata, Chris Ferguson, Vince Gassi, Emily Golan, Perry Holbrook, William Owens, Steve Parsons, John M. Pasternak, Amanda Peck, Peter Sciaino, Alexandra Skevington, Bruce W. Tippette, Diana Traietta, and Bud Woodruff.

Each score and its accompanying parts are meticulously edited and set for ease of reading. They include unique features to increase accessibility and help facilitate efficient rehearsals. Optional bowings have been carefully selected to provide an educationally sound experience from the first read. The catalog has been organized to clearly delineate grade levels following Wingert-Jones Publications’s color-coded series names which help directors select the most appropriate music for their ensembles: First Achievement (.5), Early Achievement (1), Achievement (1.5), Achievement Plus (2-2.5), Concert (3-3.5) and Symphonic (4 and up).
