Description

Several teaching opportunities are presented in this concert opener and the unison rhythms make it an excellent piece for inexperienced bands. Each wind player must play eighth notes; however, the eighth notes are always on consecutive pitches, thus making the piece accessible to beginners. It also contains a first and second ending, accents, and several dynamic changes as well as harmonies that are very basic and easily obtainable for young musicians.
