Emily Golan
Emily Golan is a violinist, teacher, composer, and arranger. She holds a Master of Music in Violin Performance & Pedagogy from Central Washington University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance with honors from Whitworth University. In her Master’s program, Emily was selected as a graduate teaching assistant, where she taught aural skills and music theory. She is a teacher in Washington state in the Tacoma Public Schools, where she teaches all levels of orchestra. She also coaches with the Tacoma Youth Symphony, conducts with the Peninsula Youth Orchestra, and occasionally freelances with various local orchestras and other gigs. In her free time, Emily enjoys reading fiction, listening to Taylor Swift, and spending time with her toddler.
