Gary Fagan

Gary Fagan was born in Frederick, Maryland where he remained until he began attending Bridgewater College in Virginia. After graduating in 1973 with a degree in Music Education, he began teaching in Louisa County, VA. In 1975 he began teaching Instrumental Music in Albemarle County, VA and remained in that position until his retirement from the public schools in 2009. He received his Masters Degree in Music Education from James Madison University in 1978. In 2009, he began serving as a University Supervisor for James Madison University and held that position for 11 years. He also spent two years as an adjunct faculty member at J.M.U. teaching Instrumental Arranging on campus.
