Reynard Burns
Reynard Burns is a composer, educator, clinician, and conductor. He experience as an educator includes but is not limited to forty years as a public school orchestra director and string teacher, twenty years as a clinician, and appearances as guest conductor. Many of his works address the need for more inclusion in the composers and styles of music that have been overlooked as we try to provide a musical experience that is global. His music has been performed across the United States and abroad.He has presented lectures and reading sessions on the music of Black composers to teachers and students at local, state, and national conferences.
