My string orchestra music utilizes expanded harmonies not necessarily belonging to the given key signature. Making sure that each piece has an actual melody which is shared among the five individual voices. Incorporating rhythms such as syncopation to provide a greater impetus to the overall work which gives the player, as well as the audience, the desire to participate.
