Description

This work has a definite Irish flavor, including a strain of Danny Boy that seems to rise out of nowhere and move forward to a powerful finale. The entire works grows in texture and excitement after opening with a drum and piccolo duet. The “Fanfare” features driving rhythms and exciting brass figures that climax with a resounding finish.
