Description

Dedicated and premiered at the Missouri Music Educators 50th Anniversary. This work opens with a strong statement based on thematic material, introducing a brisk allegro section which is followed by a slow lyric passage featuring the flute section. The allegro then resumes before a powerful and majestic conclusion. (5 minutes 30 seconds)
