Mountain Hymn

Description

You can almost hear the choir in the background as you listen to the sentimentally beautiful Mountain Hymn. The piece is dedicated to the composer’s two nieces who came from Mexico to be baptized at a small church near her home in the Ecuadorian highlands. This work will give young musicians practice with lyrical playing and expressive dynamics, all within a piece in D major that falls very easily on young musicians’ fingers.
