Storm the Castle

Description

The driving beat of this work suggests the journey and struggle to overcome as the violins come in with the main theme. The bass and cello pick up an augmented version of this theme to keep the pulse racing. The mysterious lyrical middle section is excellent for bow control and working on sound and vibrato. The piece journeys back to a triumphant ending with the original theme layered throughout the orchestra.
