Description
An original work awarded Honorable Mention in the 2009 Texas Orchestra Directors Association annual composition contest, Tangled Veils boasts interwoven melodic layers in a romantic, 2/2 feel. Much of the first violin’s part is first-position melody, but briefly incorporates mixed accidentals of sharps and flats. The cello melody in first position has an extended fourth-position option for advanced players.
