Jeremiah Gregg

Jeremiah is a composer, arranger, and keyboardist from Beaver Falls, PA. In 2014, he completed a B.M. in Music Technology/Electronic Composition with studies in jazz piano from the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University. During his time at Duquesne, Jeremiah studied jazz composition and arranging with Mike Tomaro and composition with Lynn Purse and Dr. Patrick Burke. He has been fortunate to have his jazz ensemble arrangements performed by the Trinity Music Group and the DU Jazz Ensemble, and other chamber works and electronic compositions performed by various ensembles at Duquesne. Upon graduating from DU, Jeremiah had the privilege of recording his original composition entitled “”David and Goliath”” for the album Tribute, produced by Bill Purse. He has also collaborated with Tom Kikta as an arranger and session pianist for the Colourtime Project debut album 2Believe, released in 2015. In July 2018, Jeremiah was commissioned to compose and perform piano music for Geneva College’s production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. From 2016-2020, Jeremiah orchestrated pit music for Vincentian Academy’s (Allison Park, PA) annual musical. In the summer of 2020, Jeremiah had the opportunity to commission an arrangement of “”Hit Me”” by Dirty Loops for the Mira Costa High School Marching Band in Manhattan Beach, CA.

Jeremiah is an alumnus of Kappa Kappa Psi, national honorary band fraternity, and was selected for the 2014 W. Francis McBeth Student Musicianship Award. He lives with his beautiful wife, Lucy, and pit bull mix, Scout, just north of Pittsburgh.
