Joe Snyder
Joe Snyder was born in Pottstown, Pennsylvania and began studying the trombone at age nine. He received his B.S. in music education from West Chester University in Pennsylvania and for 17 years taught instrumental and general music at the elementary, middle and high school levels. An accomplished musician, Mr. Snyder has performed as a trombonist and piano player at various events and venues up and down the East Coast and throughout the Midwest and Deep South. Currently he serves as the Music Publications Manager and Editor for Wingert-Jones Publications in Exton, Pennsylvania as well as the String Editor for J.W. Pepper and Son.
As an arranger and orchestrator, Mr. Snyder has written and arranged for concert, marching and jazz ensembles. He has also been very active in the New York theater scene doing arrangements and orchestrations for cabaret shows and concert events. Since 2012 he has served as arranger and trombonist for the PATH Fund’s annual Rockers on Broadway benefit concert in support of arts education (Performing Artists That Help). In 2018 he provided the orchestrations for the rock tribute show The Greatest Piano Men which had its New York premier in August 2018 and a Las Vegas residency in April 2019.
