Ky Hascall
Ky Hascall is Department Head for the Park Hill Music Department and Director of Bands at Park Hill High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He conducts the Symphonic Band and the Jazz Band, and he co-directs the Campus Band and the Trojan Marching Band. He has also assisted with the seventh and eighth grade bands at Congress Middle School. Prior to Park Hill, Ky taught for seven years in the Lincoln, Nebraska Public Schools at Lincoln East High School and Lux Middle School. Other teaching experiences include two years as assistant director of bands at Savannah High School (Missouri). A consummate professional, Mr. Hascall is a member of the Missouri Music Educators Association, Missouri Bandmasters Association, and Phi Beta Mu.
He attended Northwest Missouri State University where he received a B.S. Ed. in instrumental music. He studied composition with Dr. Quincy Hilliard and received a master’s degree in music theory and composition from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Mr. Hascall’s compositions have been performed by middle school, high school, and college bands throughout the country.
