Moderato & Musette

Description

A look at the French Baroque period through the eyes of the developing string orchestra. A rich, melodic Moderato allows the players to dig in and resonate with their best expressive tone. Then, a gentle Musette provides a new melody, harmonized in third’s and sixths, and presented canonically to a satisfying finish.
