Description

This is an excellent piece for beginning strings that will bring out a strong sound and build confidence in all sections. Using only the notes within a one-octave D scale, it is a plaintive melody in the relative minor (B minor) that can be used in several ways. It can be performed in unison, a two-part canon or even a three-part canon. It’s a great piece to show players how far they have come!
