Ghosts: A Midnight Tango

Description

This creepy tango is a perfect match for fall concerts! Written by composer Gene Milford, stylistically there is a lot to teach in this work, but more importantly, it will get them in their chairs and keep them engaged and into making music! A great new addition to the concert rep for this level!

Program Notes

“Do spirits gather for a dance or celebration in the dark of the night?” I’m not sure, but the rattling of bones and chains, mysterious groans, and calls heard after midnight make me wonder. “Ghosts: A Midnight Tango” will give band members the chance to explore the possibilities.
