Wingert-Jones Publications Aspires Higher for 2025-26: Releases New Works for Concert Band
The latest collection of Concert Band works from Wingert-Jones Publications has arrived and is available now. With the goal of aiding Band Directors in fostering achievement within their ensembles, this catalog includes works for all performance occasions. Accompanying the release of these works are a collection of free-to-use resources that include ScoreVideos and live professional recordings that will be available for streaming and on the publisher’s website. This year, we also present the addition of digital program notes that directors can easily copy from the website and use when creating concert programs.
“The music in this year’s Concert Band release was created and curated to spark the imagination and feed the soul,” writes Tyler Arcari, Director of Music Production and Editing. “A storied brand in music education, Wingert-Jones Publications has a legacy of helping educators cultivate an appreciation for music in their students that we hope will last a lifetime. We are proud to continue this work with a wonderful roster of new music by beloved composers, as well as exciting new voices.”
In the spirit of adding to the Wingert-Jones Publications heritage of achievement-focused works, the publisher welcomes six additional composers: Robert Thurston, Jamie Roth, Matt Neufeld, Connor Dunford, Ruth Brittin, LeAndre Benton, and Jack Wilds. Their music is available alongside that of the Wingert-Jones Publications composers whom educators, students, and audiences already know and love: Travis J. Weller, Jorge L. Vargas, Bruce W. Tippette, Robert Sheldon, Peter Sciaino, John M. Pasternak, William Owens, Jason K. Nitsch, Gene Milford, Mark Lortz, Andrew Boysen Jr., Clifton Jones, Christina Huss, Joshua Hobbs, Vince Gassi, Chris Ferguson, John Dupuis, Jay Coles, Larry Clark, Carol Brittin Chambers, and Tyler Arcari. Also available is San Lorenzo, a new addition to The Bourgeois Editions, a collection of arrangements, carefully selected and scored by one of the preeminent conductors of our time, Colonel John R. Bourgeois. Wingert-Jones Publications also celebrates the 25th anniversary of Andrew Boysen Jr.’s beloved classic, Kirkpatrick Fanfare, which has been newly engraved and edited with a beautiful new score.
The catalog has been organized to clearly delineate grade levels with the following color-coded series names to help directors select the most appropriate music for their ensembles: First Achievement (.5), Early Achievement (1), Achievement (1.5), Achievement Plus (2-2.5), Concert (3-3.5) and Symphonic (4 and up). Each score and its accompanying parts are meticulously edited and beautifully set for ease of reading and accessibility.
Wingert-Jones Publications’ 2025-2026 Concert Band music is available from music retailers and the publisher.

About Wingert-Jones Publications: Founded in 1964, Wingert-Jones Publications started as a labor of love between two instrument salesmen with a passion for grand, high-end band music. Merrill Jones started small, attending the 1964 National Band Clinic with just one piece: Emperata Overture by Claude T. Smith. Wingert-Jones has grown into a nationally known publisher and has expanded its library to include orchestral and educational works. The Achievement and Early Achievement music series are among the most popular hands-on music learning collections in the U.S.
